Title : Framework to Reduce Cost Scrapping and Cost of Assemble Test Capacity in Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Manufacturing

Abstract :

Semiconductor including integrated circuit (IC) is an expensive and complicated process. The trend of semiconductor packaging is going towards better performance with lower power consumption packages. Thus, the single-die packaging trend has evolved into multi-die packaging. The evolution of multi- die packaging requires more tools and processing steps in the assembly process. Furthermore, any die is tested at Class, and detected faulty will cause the whole package to be scrapped. These factors cause a bigger loss in production yield to compare to the single-die packaging. A new framework is suggested for model training and evaluation for the application of machine learning in the semiconductor test. The proposed new framework will be able to provide a range of possible recall rates from minimum to maximum to identify which machine learning algorithms specifically

Title : Order Fulfillment Application Testing for Small Medium Business Using ISO 25010

Abstract :

In small and medium-sized enterprises, the use of the information systems is now familiar. Information systems are widely used for different purposes, including the fulfillment of orders in a company. One system that can be used to fulfill orders in a small to medium business is Order Fulfillment Application. One small to medium business company in Jakarta has been using Order Fulfillment Application. A key process in chain management is the order fulfillment process. Supply is an order from customers that activates the supply chain, and it is the first step in providing customer service efficiently and effectively. Researchers are therefore interested in testing the software to assess application quality in the business. A field study and User Acceptance Test (UAT) with ISO 25010 standards are the tools used by researchers to run tests. Due to time and cost limitations, this work is restricted to functional suitability characteristics. Several inconsistencies between the expected results and real results have been identified from the test results, some of which have a significant level of severity. Although in its main functionality, the application used still meets the requirements of the company, it should be fixed as soon as possible. It is considered appropriate to use the UAT method because it can cover a wide range of functional suitability characteristics

Title : Seasonal pattern of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease in Malaysia using a generalized linear model

Abstract :

Large-scale outbreaks of hand, foot, mouth, and disease (HFMD) have been reported in Malaysia since 1997. The disease occurs throughout the year and has a peak cyclical trend with every three years, which suggests that its incidence may be influenced by climatic factors, which lead to infection and subsequent outbreaks. Previous studies have shown that the generalized linear model is among the popular methods that are often used in the analysis of HFMD. However, the impact and pattern of HFMD, particularly in Malaysia, is not very well understood due to limited statistical analysis that has been performed in dealing with these issues. Hence, the purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of HFMD in Malaysia from the year 2010 to 2017 using a generalized linear model. A Fourier smoothing technique will be employed to describe the pattern of weekly HFMD at each state of Malaysia. The result has shown that the peak timing and the pattern of HFMD cases differ between regions, and it is possibly due to the different geographical location and climate influence. The peak period for the majority of HFMD cases was recorded during the southwest monsoon. In contrast, the off period of this disease occurred during the northeast monsoon, which could be considered as the wet season. These findings provide significant evidence for a comprehensive understanding of the seasonal pattern on HFMD, and the developed model can help policymakers design better strategies to minimize the spreading of the infectious dise

Title : Quality assurance in a sustainable architecture creation process

Abstract :

The creativity of modern architects and urban planners, engineers and technologists working in various fields of design and construction activities as well as the creation and production of new materials, structures and technologies are inextricably linked with general trends in socio-economic development. It can effectively support the importance of architecture as a product in the sense of social response. The marketing activities are those activities that suffer adjustments due to the continuous changes in the users' needs to their behavior. In another hand, the subject of sustainable architecture and marketing became an important issue within design and construction process, where the application of the sustainable concept in design and execution process is rescuable, and it is not clear, therefore a clear reading of the building production by a clear strategy put sustainable architecture in a right way towards salability and it will be clear. The aim of this study is to create an evident comprehension, of the correlation between the phenomenon of marketing, supported by the concept of quality in sustainable architecture, and what it represents for the building users today. The method in this article takes two kinds of approach, the first is a literature study the other one is a semi-structured quality method, where an involved person has to create a hierarchy of priorities of many factors, related to the sustainable architecture factors. The study offers a clear reading of the most required factors of building users for getting a high-quality sustainable architecture

Title : Views of Instructors towards Visual Designs of Turkish Primary School Textbooks in TRNC

Abstract :

Course books as basic material of Turkish course are required to be designed based on visual design principles. This research aims to examine the views of instructors working in Fine Arts Faculties of universities in TRNC on primary school Turkish course books based on design principles. Semi-structured interview method as a qualitative approach was used in the research. Study group involved 15 instructors working at Fine Arts Faculties of universities in TRNC. An interview form was used to collect the data. The recorded interviews were transcribed into written documents and analyzed with content analysis method. According to the results, it was determined that general views of instructors on Turkish course books within principles of design were negative. Instructors also stated that there are crucial points in the books that needs to be improved and they provided recommendations on this issue. Results obtained from this research were discussed with relevant literature and recommendations for further research and practices were also pr
