Technology Reports of Kansai University (ISSN: 04532198) is a monthly peer-reviewed and open-access international Journal. It was first built in 1959 and officially in 1975 till now by kansai university, japan. The journal covers all sort of engineering topic, mathematics and physics. Technology Reports of Kansai University (TRKU) was closed access journal until 2017. After that TRKU became open access journal. TRKU is a scopus indexed journal and directly run by faculty of engineering, kansai university.

Porous silicon layers have been synthesized on n-type (111) silicon wafers by photoelectrochemical etching (PECE) technique with etching durations of 20 and 30 min. The morphological and structural properties of bulk and porous structures were examined by using scanning electron microscopy and X-Ray diffraction, while the electrical properties were investegated by I-Vcharactristics. From SEM images, the porous silicon (PSi) layers have sponge-like structure. XRD spectra of porous silicon showing different diffraction peaks with compressive strain. I-V characteristics showed Schottkybehaviour and small leakage current
This study aims to determine the mechanical properties of a concrete mixture using Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) and crab shell powder as a substitute for cement and fine aggregate in a concrete mixture. The mechanical properties to be studied are concrete compressive strength, slump value and its density. As a specimen in this study, a concrete cylinder with a diameter of 100 mm and a height of 200 mm was used. The compressive strength of concrete was tested at 7, 14, and 28 days. The amount of GGBF and crab shell powder used in the concrete mix varies from 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of cement and fine aggregate weight. The results of the study showed that combination of 5% crab shell powder and adding 10% GGBFS powder, can increase the compressive strength of the concrete of 5.56%.
This paper reports on a study which explores the mathematics teaching strategies used in a multilingual classroom at technical and vocational education and training colleges in South Africa. Effective teaching and learning strategies are required that will motivate students to study and understand mathematical concepts, as well as engage in both procedural and conceptual discourses. Brijlall showed that in mathematics classes collaborative learning has a higher rate of success than does individual learning. He recommends further study on this teaching strategy. This study seeks to draw up some strategies which lecturers can use to teach mathematics effectively in a multilingual classroom. Effective strategies should lead to better understanding of mathematical concepts with subsequently improved performance in mathematics examinations. Hence, this study is important in addressing the call for greater research in this area
This research aimed to determine the probability vector of Hardy‘s matrix for the homozygous (AA , aa ) and heterozygous (Aa), the proportions of individuals whose has those genotypes with their probabilities and the Hardy‘s matrix represented. Then the genotype frequencies of individual, whose affected by the diseases (eye, respiratory and skin) which are took place, as a result from the chemical attack are determined. Also in order to find the effect of genotypes on the diseases a particular transition probability matrix of hidden Markov Chain is prepared, and the transition probabilities for successive generations with the genotype frequencies of the individuals performed. The sample size of (500) have chosen by stratify random sampling from a list of (929) patients which are recorded by ministry of Martyr and Anfal. The steady stead of Hardy‘s matrix obtained after initial generation of diseases, also the transition probabilitymatrix of hidden Markov chain stabilized from generation (11) and the genotype vector took steady stead for diseases. Finally the Bayes‘ theorem applied to define the effects genotypes on (eye, respiratory, and skin) diseases
Raft foundation that lays over the whole area of the constructions, transferring the whole building loads and decreases the differential precipitation while the piles are relatively tall, slender elements that transfer the loads of the foundation through the soil layer of the least bearing capacity to deepest layer of the rock or soil that possessing a big capacity of bearing. In the last decades, a foundation with piled-raft that is a combined structure containing pile and raft has been confirmed as a better replacement in lieu of the typical raft or pile foundations., The analysis of foundation with piled-raft that have been concluded In this research via using ANSYS software for finite element method. For more comprehension to the manner of a foundation with piled-raft, manual solutions have been showed us in the moderate sand with various diameters of piles and the lengths of piles in various components. We have been discovered that the Pile's diameter has an important impact on the maximum capacity of a foundation with piled-raft while the length of the pile does not have a plentiful importance. We have been concluded that the ideal collection of the diameter of the pile with (0.5) m within the middle of a foundation that have (0.4) m within the crests of a foundation is resulting the maximum load around (4.45) MN and having precipitation of (26.76) mm which is an acceptable limits.
