Title : Social Media Marketing, Perceived Service Quality, Consumer Trust and Online Purchase Intentions

Abstract :

This study aims to measure the effect of social media marketing and perceived service quality on online purchase intention that is mediated by consumer trust toward Airpaz.com. The sample obtained in this study was 214 samples. Respondents are customers who had made transactions at Airpaz.com using payments in Indonesian Rupiah. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the collected data. The outer model test proved the reliability and validity of the constructs, as well as the inner model, proved the hypotheses.  The results showed that as partial social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer trust, it has no significant impact on online purchase intention. The perceived service quality has a positive and significant impact on consumer trust and online purchase intention. Likewise, consumer trust has a positive and significant effect on online purchase intention. The hypotheses are supported since social media marketing, and perceived service quality has a positive and significant impact on online purchase intention, mediated by consumer trust. The findings can direct Airpaz.com or other online retailers to increase their promotion and marketing by using social media. And also, they improve their service quality to create customer trust and online purchase intention, especially for Airpaz.com, which has a smaller market share in Indonesia and smaller social media followers compared to its competitors. These findings showed that social media marketing was not always directly influenced by online purchase intention, but the correlation needs the trust variable as the mediator

Title : Developing Child Drowning Alert Prototype System using IoT PPG Sensor

Abstract :

The death rate of drowning among children have been increasing lately in peninsular Malaysia. It may cause by the lack of attention from the parents in keeping their eyes of their children in the swimming pool. An IoT based system is proposed in avoiding this unintended death from happening as well as helping parents in taking care of their children in the swimming pool. Child Drowning Alert System is introduced to assist parents in paying attention to their children in the swimming pool. This system consists of NodeMCU and heart rate sensor. The heart rate sensor is used to detect heart rate the children in the swimming pool while NodeMCU is where the code is implemented in developing an algorithm to differ the normal heart rate and drowning heart. This system uses Wi-Fi to connect to the smartphone through Blynk application. If the designated threshold of heart rate is surpassed, the parents will get an alert signal from the microcontroller. From the testing, the prototype was able to detect the early symptom of drowning condition using our video simulation. This prototype not only help parents in monitoring one child but also enable to monitor more than one with the NodeMCU technology.

Title : Vehicle Data Recorder With Engine Monitoring System On Demand

Abstract :

According to data from World Health Organization, more than one million people died every year because of accidents that related to transportation. Meanwhile, according to data from KORLANTAS POLRI Indonesia, in 2018 there is 28.772 traffic accident. In order to prevent loss of lives in traffic accident, improve the safety standard of vehicle manufacturing, and to help investigate the cause of an accident. Vehicle Data Recorder (VDR) is designed and implemented in this research. The VDR is completed with engine monitoring system on demand. The system calculates the location from GPS, parsing data from OBD and then send it to server. The data transmission using GSM module worked well at outdoor with accuracy more than 70%. Meanwhile in-vehicle the accuracy of data transmission is more than 50%.

Title : Green Calcium Catalyst for Biodiesel Production: A Review

Abstract :

Biodiesel is one of the best choices for fuel alternatives. This is mainly due to its lower production value as it can easily be procured from cheap natural sources. It also has low emission of pollutant. However, some issues in regard to the production of biodiesel is that most production processes use homogeneous catalyst which is irretrievable and has expensive separation procedures. There is a method conducted to negates the outcomes stated above such as transesterification in supercritical conditions. But this method of transesterification also has its downside, high temperature and pressure processes indirectly will lead to higher cost and higher energy wastage. Therefore presently, using heterogeneous catalyst are the way to go, especially catalyst derived from green resources. These types of catalyst are being extensively researched on due to its versatility, wide range of resources and promising results. Thus, this paper illustrates the compressive studies of biodiesel synthesis and assesses the latest achievement involved in heterogeneous catalyst derived from waste specifically waste from animal sources. Experimental data from great number of papers are reviewed thoroughly to provide an easier framework in producing biodiesel. Most importantly this review aims to diminish problems associated with heterogeneous catalyst while helping the industry to sustain the environment while still meeting energy demands.

Title : Maintenance Discharge Simulation Model of Upstream Bengawan Solo River on the Operation Pattern of Wonogiri Reservoir

Abstract :

The Bengawan Solo River is the largest river on the island of Java and flows water from the river basin area (DPS) covering an area of ± 16,100 km2 starting from the Sewu Mountains in the west-south of Surakarta to the Java Sea north of Surabaya through a ± 600 km long channel. Wonogiri Reservoir as a reservoir in the upstream area of the Bengawan Solo River with a watershed (DAS) covering an area of 1350 km2 is still operating well since 1981 as a flood control raw water supply hydroelectric power river maintenance tourism and fisheries. With a river maintenance discharge from the reservoir of 2 m3/s the amount of river pollution load in the downstream area is still quite large with the highest amount of pollutant load found in the Kajangan segmentt in September 2019 with a BOD of 103 mg / L and COD of 441.7 mg / L.-133.254.59 kg / day for BOD parameters and -555.039.07 kg / day for COD parameters. After simulating the addition of discharge to the upstream different results are obtained. The most optimal dilution discharge was found to reduce the pollution load in the downstream area to comply with class II water quality standards with the lowest discharge of 23 m3 / s for April 2019 and the highest discharge of > 150 m3 / s for September 2019 to December 2019. Efforts to rely on the addition of upstream river discharge as a diluent to reduce pollutant loads in the downstream need to pay attention to the quality of water contained in the water discharge. If the water quality at the discharge used as a diluent is not too good it will not have a big effect in reducing the pollution load
