Agriculture is one of the most important sectors for Indonesian economics. However, this sector faces particular challenges nowadays; one of them is lack of labor due to fewer young people interested in agriculture. This problem can be overcome with automation systems such as robotics. The pneumatic system can be a better alternative for building an agriculture robot due to its simplicity and lower long-term costs. This paper presents a pneumatic-power food sorting system. The proposed method's feasibility is proven by simulation program and compared with the experimental testbed of a pneumatic-powered arm robot manipulator. This system is assigned to detect grape and sort it from other agricultural products. The simulation and experimental results show that the system is able to sort grape from edamame within 24.83 s. Therefore, the system is applicable for sorting agriculture products.
