Abstract :

This study aimed to develop a flipped classroom learning model to improve students' mathematical higher order thinking skills. The Plomp development research consists of five stages, namely preliminary study, design, realization, testing and evaluation, revision and implementation that were used to produce the expected flipped classroom learning model. The tool developed was a learning plan following the syntax of flipped classroom learning, printed and video teaching materials and student worksheets that gave rise to students' HOTS. Data sources were high school students on the island of Ambon, Maluku and the subjects of the trial were students of public high school 3 Ambon. The results show that the flipped classroom learning model could improve students' HOTS.
